We are getting closer to being on snow. There are several places which opened this weekend for the general public to ski, and others are very close behind.

Here's the plan for Thanksgiving week:

  • Monday- on your own do some easy L1 roller ski or hike/jog with poles.

  • Tuesday- 3:30 Optional work out at KRMS on roller skis or dryland. This will be a balance and technique day. We will finish by late buses.

  • Wednesday- on your own. Do some 3x2:00 intervals (interval 1 for 2:00 at L3, 3:30 recovery at L1, three sets of this then 5 minutes easy ski/run and repeat the intervals for two more sets. 15 minute cool down.

  • Thursday- enjoy your family and get outside or a walk or some other exercise.

  • Friday- 9:00 am optional work out at KRHS for hill bounding. We will be done by 10:30.

  • Saturday- Intervals. Do some 3x2:30 intervals (interval 1 for 2:30 at L3, 5:00 recovery at L1, three sets of this then 5 minutes easy ski/run and repeat the intervals for two more sets. 15 minute cool down

  • Sunday- Over distance. Do a 60-75 minute roller ski (L1-L2) or hike/run.
