Good evening,

Sorry about the delay with this week's update. I was up in Craftsbury, Vt this weekend serving as the Assistant Technical Delegate (TDA) for the races there. A TDA is an official who works to ensure a safe and fair competition. And I got to get in alot of skiing.

But, I'm now feeling a bit under the weather and won't be at school or practice tomorrow. Coach Pruett has a commitment at school until 3:30, so we're giving folks a day off. Go for a run, do some strength work and be ready for the rest of the week.

This week:

Monday: Off day, I won't be in school tomorrow as I'm a bit under the weather.

Tuesday:  Practice @ Proctor 4:30-6:15 Classic skiing, progressions and striding work

Wednesday: Practice @ Proctor 3:15-5:00 Classic Intervals and games

Thursday: Practice @ Proctor 3:15-5:00 Classic technique and specific strength

Friday: Practice @ Proctor 3:15-5:00 Classic distance skiing

If you have yellow wax on your classic skis, that should be good for this week, Scrape and brush the kick zones. Please have them marked if you have the ability to do so, otherwise, clean off last year's kick zone marks from the sidewalls. It should be hard wax this week for kick wax, so that's a positive.
